Bahareh, 23, receives help from her husband. Bahareh is a typical Iranian youth with the exception of the fact that she rebels by shaving her head. In Iran women are not allowed to shave their heads, nor are they allowed to show their hair. Women wear an Islamic covering called hejab which covers women face and her body exposing only her hands and face. Bahareh, which mean spring-like, wanted to do something to be different. She wears her hejab so that people do not notice her new hair cut. Her husband Saman, 22, shaved her head for her.
